Whats NOT on the camp list
Well after stressing herself over the last week Miss Lanky Legs has started to pack for camp finally. She needed a couple of new things to take, bathers, rashie, boardies etc. So I got them for her & a nice little pink suitcase to put it all in as “Mum we wont fit both our stuff in your case” read by learning Mum “I want my own case”
So going through the list & yep we have it all & then some, that we dont need. I wish I could unpack :
- the stress
- the I’m better than you attitude of some of the kids going
- the doubt of Miss Lanky Legs in how she looks in her clothes
- the extra 5kg I am carry onself
- the fear I have of going on this glass bottomed boat *note to self dont forget the motion sickness pills*
Me well no I havent started to pack yet though I sort of know what I am taking
problem is I need to wear the clothes before we go & take some of them to Perth with me, looks like I will be packing mine Saturday night before we head off on Sunday
See you when we return

Taking off again
Well as you know we took off to Perth last week for the football & man didnt we have a fabulous time!!
The weather was pretty crappy on the Fri & Sun, BUT thankfully Saturday was glorious sunshine for the footy & much to Natasha’s delight the West Coast Eagles won the game. And much to our delight she has finally stopped singing the bloody theme song!!!
Now while we were there enjoying ourselves we bought a new car!!!!!!!! Soooooooo we are off to Perth again on Friday to pick her up. Whilst I am extremely excited about the new car I am very sad to be saying goodbye to my little zippster.
I love being able to park anywhere in my Rio & zip about on the smell of an oily rag, but poor Miss Lanky Legs (AKA Natasha ) is getting a bit tall to be sitting in the back seat, esp when her father drives. And the lack of boot space was noticeable when we came home on Sunday with extra shopping!!
So the new 380 platinum we are getting should solve all our problems but may create some for me until I get used to parking a large car again
Oh & then theres the power too as I am going from a 1.6 4cyl motor to a 3.8 V6…………ohhhh thankgod its got cruise control me thinks
Though I think I may have to hide the keys as Sunday I take off to Coral Bay & wont be home until Friday so Bob will be hooning about everywhere in her!!!
So until I get home from camp

Hittin’ the frog & toad
For those that dont know Aussie Rhyming Slang it means we are hitting the road, travelling. We leave tomorrow morning (Friday) & return Sunday night
After having the worst school holidays on record, with both my kids unbelievably sick we are off to the big smoke (city) for the weekend. Natasha recently won tickets to the football at Subiaco Oval so we are off, much to Bobs disgust as he hates AFL,to watch West Coast Eagles & St Kilda battle it out.
The Target toy sale also starts today so we will be visiting Target whilst in Perth & the kids are taking their hard earned (yeah right!) pocket money with them for a spend up I know they are eyeing off a couple of DS games among other things. I am hoping to get a new pair of boots as my old faithfuls have given up the ghost. The zipper sticks & the soles are cracked
While we are there I would love to go to the Janome shop & check out the MB4 *drool* but I know if I check them out I will hanker after one even more. Better keep putting my lotto tickets on I think!!!
Have a great weekend everyone

Go the green & gold :D
While I would like to say I am embroidering for the Olympic team LOL its not. These are the 90 shirts I am about halfway through embroidering for the local junior footy teams. Each shirt needs 3 logos on it. They are certainly keeping me busy & out of mischief!!
Happy stitching

Tooth Fairy Pillows
I recently created a tooth fairy pillow to add to The Sewing Fairy range
When the tooth fairy has to visit its nice if she can easily locate the lost tooth & leave her calling.
Our tooth fairy pillows do just that, they feature a handy pocket on the front for your child to place their tooth, the pocket is big enough for the tooth fairy to enter & swap the prized tooth for whatever she chooses to leave behind.

OUCH!!
Poor Bob came home from work last week with a rather oversized finger. The silly bugga did something with a drill & then ended up with this gross looking specimin otherwise known as a finger LOL
Photos really dont do justice as to how gross it s IRL!!

Crazy Hair
Recently the school held a crazy hair day
Some of the creations were awesome. Natasha missed out on this day as she was in Perth for a Sing fest concert with the choir but Brayden was able to participate.
We went shopping & he chose red & green hair spray then let me attack him the next morning before heading off to school.
This is the result
Looks pretty crazy to me
