Do you have any plastic containers that still smell of the last thing they were used to store?? I used to have a couple & no amount of soaking or scrubbing would get rid of the smell. I actually had 2 containers that I no longer used due to the smell but didnt throw out due to the price!!
Well I dont have the problem any more, & I will share with you why. Now when I was first told of the solution I thought “yeah right ” but decided to try it any way & guess what……..it actually worked!!!
OK so what did I do?? I filled the container with water & stuck it in the freezer until frozen solid ( read until I remembered I had stuck it in the back freezer <blush>) Then I tied the large iceblock out onto the lawn so it wouldnt waste all the water & washed my container. NO SMELL!!!!!!! Honest the smell was gone completely.
So drag out your smelly containers & give it a go, let me know how you went!!!

Why are they called Sunday Pancakes you ask ? Well usually every Sunday I make them for breakky. The kids love them & so do I nice & hot straight from the pan with lots of honey………..yummo!! They are also known as pikelets & really its up to you whatever you want to call them the recipe is the same.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1.5 cups milk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups SR flour
Method:
place all ingredients in a bowl & mix with electric mixer or hand whisk until smooth. Place tablespoon fulls in a hot greased pan. Cook until bubbles appear & then flip. Cook for a few mins until golden. Serve & eat while hot.

Whats your favourite topping for pancakes?

ok it is a mundane job & I more often than not let mine drip dry anyway unless I want to annoy the kids, that drive me insane, by insisting
they do the drying. Mind you that leads to more insanity as I hear “hurry up”, “I did more than you”,” I had that one first……………..MUM……………” Sheesh no wonder I detest not having a dish washer these days!
Anyway just because they do a boring job doesn’t mean your tea towels have to be boring. I offer great fun tea towels in funky colours to jazz up your kitchen. Choose from Pink, Blue, Yellow or Green with embroidery of your choice. Happy to personalise towels with any name………..(put kids or hubby’s on there then they own the towel & have to use it) hehe.

Happy drying
