I am sooooo happy with the colour combo I chose for this one. Originally I was going to use black fabric where the green is but when I dug a little deeper in my cupboard & found the green it was just perfect, dont you think??
When I find out which lucky celeb receives this bag I will update you all
Happy Stitchin

Remember back in October lat yr my darling beloved bought me a laptop for my birthday? Well I had an old bag soft briefcase from my partyplan days that it fitted in perfect but it’s boring its plain black & blurgh.
So today I finally did something about it I got out the paper, pencil, ruler & my brain to make a pattern that would fit my laptop. After a couple of hours I had the pattern all nutted out & the fabrics cut
Then I stitched it all together only to rip it apart & start again.
But glad I did !! This is the end result
what do you think?

My kids love being creative & I think more kids should be given the oppornity to paint, draw, model with clay, playdough or whatever. I know it is messy but hey kids=mess LOL. Perhaps its because if I dont create something daily I feel blah & thats why I love it when the kids are being messy………..oops creative.
Once the server decides to play the game I am going to be putting these up on The Sewing Fairy
Anyway let me show you what I am going on about. Its my new Art Smock that I designed & tested yesterday

I am very happy with how these turned out, they have embroidered paint splats on 1 sleeve, which I digitised myself :), and a paint palete next to where the name goes on the pocket.
Will be making them in red, blue, pink & purple.
What do you think?
Been at the machines again, this time its Library bags for some lovely young girls. I have made other products for these girls & know they really are rapt when their name is on something as you dont find thier names on stuff you can buy ready made. They should get them shortly in the mail
Hope they like them

Happy Reading Girls

We all know that babies poop alot!!
No I dont have a baby & wont be having anymore babies, I have made this as part of my product range for The Sewing Fairy.
I am really pleased with how it turned out
Why you make bags of course
Years ago I used to make these all the time I love them you can store soooo much stuff in them. Lately there has been a resurgence in interest in them & I have started making them again. They are proving popular chrissy & birthday pressies for many young ladies.
No 2 are ever the same as I just create as I go on these & have had nothing but good words said about them
Well after showing everyone the phone holder I did for my Tupperware lady I had enquiries galore! Here is the next 4 I have made. I love making them & love the colour combos. I hope you do too!!

Firstly there was a large package & I knew it would be my threads from Janka over at Theda-threads & woohoo it was soooo happy. 180 spools of thread to categorize & then sort into my storage drawers by colour & shades. Janka even kindly donated another spool of purple thread for all my charity embroidery I do. THANKYOU Janka. I was grinning like the Cheshire cat, the kids helped & then we did a count of ALL my embroidery threads & well ummmmm I now have 350 spools of it. Lucky for me I embroider every day so it is justifiable isnt it ??
All the box’s of threads

Second great item to come in the mail was my tea towels from Deedles. Over on Bad Girls of Sewing we did a tea-towel swap & mine arrived today I love them.

Thanks Deedles
Remember the pink& green fabrics from last week, well they are transformed now into a colour tote for Ava. I love the combination of these two fabrics so fresh & springy

After I finished the pink & green one I made this gorgeous cat one for Shayla
